Also, green leafy vegetables have many vitamins and minerals in abundance to give your body all the nutrients it needs.

Strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and mulberries are a few examples of the best skin food you can rely on to give you a natural glow this winter. Also, citrus fruits are loaded with vitamin C which is the best medicine for your skin, fruits like sweet lime, orange and kiwi are the best-known sources of vitamin C.

Coconut oil: For centuries coconut oil is used for various skin and hair care purposes. It has high levels of ‘Ferulic and p-Coumaric acid’ which fights any damage that might have happened to your skin in winter. Cool shower: It feels like heaven when you take a long hot shower after a long day in winter but it can be the reason for the extra dryness on your skin. The hot water depletes the natural oil of your skin thus removing the protective layer of moisture to keep your skin hydrated. So bathing with lukewarm water is suggested as the best way to get your showers daily.

Take some glycerin in your hand and apply it on your face before bedtime and wash it off in the morning for maximum effect.

Petroleum jelly: Talking about winter skincare is almost impossible without mentioning petroleum jelly, it comes as a boon for us to take care of winter skin. Just apply some amount of petroleum jelly wherever you feel dry in winter and leave it overnight. Wash it with lukewarm water in the morning.

Strawberry face mask: Strawberries, as mentioned earlier, are a very good source of antioxidants but they not only help your skin when consumed but also when applied to the skin. Just put 4 strawberries in a grinder and add thick cream to the paste and your mask is ready. Apply the mask for an hour before washing it off and see your glowing skin.

Lemon and honey: Last but certainly not least lemon is a great source of vitamin C which is like medicine for your skin. Applying lemon can cause some irritation, but the pain is worth it. Just add some honey to 3 tablespoons of lemon juice and apply it on the skin, leave it for 10 minutes and get a glowing face instantly.
