- PARAFFIN WAX:
Paraffin wax is a natural ingredient that helps heal the pain on your feet and gives relief to a great extent. It is a natural emollient that helps to soften the skin. Take 1 tablespoon of paraffin wax and mix 3 drops of coconut oil in it. Mix both the ingredients together after heating it in a pan. After cooling down the ingredients at room temperature apply it on your cracked heels and wear socks for protection. Wash off the mixture in the morning. This practice can be done twice a week. The wax should be used when it is in medium heat.
- COCONUT OIL:
Coconut is a great remedy when it comes to cracked heels. It hydrates the skin and removes the dead skin cells, which cause cracked heels. Coconut oil proves to provide nourishment to your skin. Take 2 tablespoons of coconut oil and gently heat it. Apply it on your heels and wear socks. Wash it off the next day. Repeat this process for some time to get soft heels. Coconut oil is a remedy in every case.
- OATMEAL REMEDY:
Oatmeal has certain anti-inflammatory properties which help to remove dead skin cells. Once the dead skin cells are removed, feet become soft again. The moisture is retained back and the crack disappears. 1 tablespoon oatmeal and take 5 drops of olive oil. Mix both the ingredients and form a paste. You can apply it to the cracked parts of your feet. Try keeping it for about an hour and wash it off. This process can be applied every alternate day and it is a really effective home remedy.
- SHEA BUTTER:
Shea butter is a moisturizer that helps to retain the moisture balance in your body. This helps to keep soft feet and dryness is also reduced. This leads to a reduction in many skin problems as well. The Vitamin A and E present in Shea butter help in the process. Take 2 tablespoons of Shea butter and a pair of socks. Take the shea butter and apply it to your cracked heels and massage it for about 2 minutes. This will help Shea butter to penetrate deep inside. Protect your feet with the help of socks and leave them for the night. This process can be repeated for a few weeks.
- PUMICE STONE:
Pumice stone is hard enough and this hardness helps to remove the dead skin cells from the cracked part of your heel. This stone can be purchased from markets. Take 1 pumice stone and warm water. You need to soak your feet in warm water for about 15 minutes. Gently rub the scrub on your feet to remove the dead cells. You need to rinse your feet after that. This process can be followed daily for visible results. But the stone should not be rubbed harshly as the healthier layers of skin can also be damaged.
- VASELINE & LEMON JUICE:
Lemon juice has anti-inflammatory properties and acidic properties that help to heal dry and itchy feet. Vaseline has moisturizing properties and a combination of them both is a great remedy for your cracked heels. Take 1 teaspoon of Vaseline and 5 drops of lemon juice. Soak your feet in warm water mixed with both. Or you can pat your feet dry and apply the mixture. Wear socks and keep your feet protected overnight. You can rinse it off the very next day. This is one process that can be done every day before you go to bed.
- VITAMIN E OIL:
Vitamin E has certain properties in it which help to keep feet moisturized. It hydrates the skin and keeps it smooth and soft. Take about 4 Vitamin E capsules and open them up to remove the oil from them. Apply the oil in the infected places. Vitamin E oil can be applied thrice for better results. These capsules can be bought and they are essential.
- HONEY FOR CRACKED HEELS:
Honey is a natural antiseptic and it has great properties to heel cracked feet. It helps to revitalize feet and its soothing properties help with that. Take 1 cup of honey and warm water. Mix honey, into warm water. You should soak your feet in the water for about 20 minutes. Gently scrub off your feet. This method can be followed daily until you don’t get rid of cracked heels.
- APPLE CIDER VINEGAR (ACV):
Apple cider vinegar (ACV) has mild acids present, which helps remove the dead skin cells formed on the outer layer. It helps in exfoliation and result, you get supple feet. Take 1 cup of apple cider vinegar (ACV) and warm water. Soak your feet in warm water and apply 4 drops of apple cider vinegar (ACV) to it. Scrub off your feet after putting it in the solution. This process can be repeated on alternate days.
- RICE FLOUR:
Rice flour helps in exfoliating your feet and rejuvenates them. Feet become soft like satin. Take 3 tablespoons of rice flour, 2 tablespoons of honey. You can also add 3 tablespoons of vinegar. Mix all the ingredients to form a paste. Soak your feet in warm water for about 20 minutes and then pat it dry. This is one remedy which can be done twice a week.
