Honey & lemon lip masks: Honey is a natural healer and helps you to keep your lips soft and supple. They moisturize your lips and the presence of lemon helps in lightening your lips and making them soft. Take 1 teaspoon of honey and ½ teaspoon of lemon in a container. Mix both the ingredients and apply them to your lips. Keep it for about 15 to 20 minutes and then wash it off. You can use a light lip balm after this effective result. This process can be continued daily as it is really good for your lips.
Crushed rose petal lip masks: The moisture in your lips can be retained with the help of rose petals as they contain sugars naturally. Petals are anti-inflammatory and are good for keeping lips pink. Take 7 rose petals and ½ cup of milk. Soak rose petals in milk overnight and in the morning, and apply it to your lips using a cotton bud. You can keep it for about 15 minutes and wash it with cold water. This process can be used as a night treatment for lips and it is gentle on your lips.
Beetroot lip balm: Beetroots are antioxidants and anti-inflammatory which help to remove the discolouration of the lips making them soft. Shea butter contains Vitamin A and E which are helpful for your lips. Beeswax makes a protective shield to protect your lips. Take ½ teaspoon of beet-root powder, 1 tablespoon of shea butter and 1 tablespoon of beeswax pellets. Put beeswax and shea butter in a jar. Stir to blend all the ingredients together. Add beet-root powder to it and let all of them cool. Transfer all of them to a small lip balm container. Use it whenever you want to. You can use this natural lip balm when you need hydration for your lips.
Milk & turmeric: Turmeric contains healing properties in them and milk is a whitening ingredient. It locks moisture in your lips and keeps them hydrated and pink all through the time. Take 1 teaspoon milk and ½ tablespoon turmeric powder. Mix both together to form a paste. Apply the paste to your lips for 5 minutes and then rinse it with cold water. Sugar & coconut oil lip scrub: Sugar is considered to be a humectant that retains the moisture of your lips. The natural oils nourish your lips and the exfoliation helps in removing the dead skin cells. Take 1 teaspoon brown sugar and 1 tablespoon of coconut oil. Mix both together in a glass bowl. Put it all together in a lip balm. Gently put it on your lips and scrub it in a circular motion. Wipe off the ingredients for results. You can use this exfoliator at least 2 twice a week. You can use white sugar can also be used in place of brown sugar. This is one method that is simple and can be used by everyone.
Chocolate: Dark chocolate can work wonders when it comes to improving health problems. It is rich in antioxidants. It helps with hydration and restoring dry lips and keeps them moisturized. Take 1 teaspoon cocoa butter, 2 cubes of dark chocolate and 1 Vitamin E capsule. Melt dark chocolate and cocoa butter in a pan. Add vitamin E oil into it. Pour all of it into a lip balm container. Apply it to your lips and keep it for 20 minutes. Wash it off with lukewarm water. You can use this method whenever you find that your lips are not hydrated.
Lemon & glycerine lip masks: Glycerine helps in giving you hydrated lips and lemon has ingredients that help in whitening your lips. Your lips can look soft and supple because it contains natural moisturizing ingredients. The pigmentation can be reduced with the help of lemon. Take 1 teaspoon lemon and 1 teaspoon glycerin. Mix both and keep them in a container and refrigerate for about a week. Using a brush, you can apply it to your lips. This process can be used daily if you want results sooner.
Almond oil & lemon: Almond oil is the best natural remedy you can use for your lips. It helps in preventing the dead skin cells from building up and protects lips from getting chapped. Lemon removes the discolouration of your lips. Take 2 drops of almond oil and 1 teaspoon of lemon. Mix both together applies them to your lips. This process can be applied daily or every day before night.
Coriander lip masks: Coriander contains umbelliferone which reduces the discoloration of lips and pigmentation is lightened. This mask can be used regularly which will lighten your lips and make them pink once again. Take 5 to 6 leaves of coriander. Crush the leaves and make them into a fine paste. Apply the mixture to your lips and keep it for 15 minutes. Use a damp cloth and wash it with lukewarm water. Apply lip balm after the process.
Aloe vera gel: Aloe vera is anti-inflammatory and contains healing properties. Vitamin E helps in restoring moisture. Take Aloe Vera gel and 1 teaspoon of coconut oil. Take out 1 leaf and scoop up the gel from the leaf. Add coconut oil and put it in a container. Apply this on your lips and keep it in the refrigerator to use it longer. This can be used several times in a day, just like you use a lip balm.
